CAIP (County Agricultural Investment Program)

The 2023-24 CAIP reimbursement period has ended. Please check this page, the ANR Newsletter, or the Adair-Russell Shopper for news about the 2025 CAIP application period.

When bringing receipts, please bring a copy of all receipts for your project, and copies of the front and back of cancelled checks. If you paid with a credit or debit card, a copy of the credit card statement, or bank statement, showing payment will suffice. You should mark out your account number. NO receipts for cash purchases will be accepted.

Agriculture Diversification

Ag. Tech. & Leadership Development

Large Animal

BQCA (Beef Quality Care and Assurance) certification is required.
This can be attained through the
Kentucky Beef Network at https://www.kybeefnetwork.com/beef-quality--care-assurance-bqca.html

Small Animal

Small Ruminant Quality Assurance      Certification is required.
This may be attained through the
Kentucky Sheep and Goat Development Office
at https://www.kysheepandgoat.org/srqa

  • Please bring a map of your farm and indicate where your fence was installed

Forage & Grain Improvement

  • Approved Seed List

  • In order to receive reimbursement for lime, a soil test within the past 12 months indicating the need for lime application is required.
